Penis-enlargement products are not difficult to find. Internet, TV and magazines are filled with advertisements for pumps, weights, exercises, pills, traction devices and surgery all of which supposed can increase the length and of your penis. You might have received various spam emails offering different penis enlargement methods. REMEMBER: a well-known company never allows such advertising and such spam emails do not offer an original penis enlargement product. A solid company must have a professional website, phone numbers, real adress and have no cheap prices. For example, if a company sells penis pills they should not cost less than 50$. If they are less than this sum of money - BEWARE. Think twice when you decided to buy penis enlargement products. Is your penis so small? Most likely, your size is perfectly normal. Research shows that more than 70 percent of men have penises that measure between 5 and 7 inches when erect. A penis is considered abnormally small only if it measures less than 3,5 inches when erect. Does your woman allways say that your penis is small? If she's already satisfied than no worries for you. Don't enlarge your penis in this case. Here is some statistics: 82% of the women say that penis length is not so important as penis girth. REMEMBER: penis enlargement products must not only increase a penis size but also a penis girth. You do not need to have longer penis which would look thinner at the same time. If you have already made a decision to enlarge your penis anyway then pay attention on both features - penis length and penis girth. do penis enlarement pills work vig rx results penis enlagement before and after picture com enlargment penile penile pump penile enlargment drug vimax penis enlargment prosolution penile enlargement pills guide to penis enhancement
Many men suffer from erectile dysfunction (ED) -- the inability to achieve and sustain an erection long enough to have enjoyable and fulfilling sex. For a variety of reasons ED is most common in men over 45. The sex drive is often lowered even further in older men who are taking medications of various kinds. Most of us assume the sex drive gradually diminishes as we get older, so we are prepared to accept ED as a natural condition. But the fact is, the inability for many men to sustain an erection may be more the result of treatable physical conditions rather than an actual loss of sex drive. Until the early 1980s most people -- including most trained urologists -- assumed that ED was basically a mental or psychological problem. But in 1983 at a presentation to the American Urological Association, Dr. Giles Brindley demonstrated that a penis could be made erect by injecting it with the drug phentolamine. In a public demonstration, he used his own penis to make the point. Brindley had discovered that the penis could be made erect by relaxing the normally consricted blood vessels leading into it. Once the blood vessels are relaxed, they let in more blood and the penis inflates something like a balloon to form an erection. So gradually it came to be accepted that ED is the result of physical changes in the adult male -- not primarily mental or psychological conditions. Viagra - Controlling the Penile Valve Phentolamine -- the drug used by Dr. Brindley to give himself a public erection -- started to be used with some success in the 80's and 90's, but there are two problems with phentolamine. First, it is not selective enough to target only the penis, so its effects on other parts of the body are unpredictable. And second, the erections it creates are not brought on by sexual stimulation. You can get an erection any old time with phentolamine, and you will continue to have one until the effect of the drug wears off. Viagra was the first drug that overcame these two problems. (It was introduced in 1998 by the Pfizer company. The active ingredient in Viagra is sildenafil citrate.) Viagra does not work by relaxing the blood vessels of the penis. Instead it enhances the natural processes that take place when a man is sexually stimulated. It does this by controlling what we might call the "Softeners" -- the chemicals in the body designed to make the penis go soft after an erection. It works something like this. When a man is sexually stimulated his brain sends signals that trigger the production of chemicals that relax the blood vessels in the penis. Think of these as "Hardeners". As the blood vessels are relaxed by the production of Hardeners, blood flow increases and the penis goes erect. But nature has also designed a way for the erection to gradually subside. At the same time as Hardeners are being produced to relax the blood vessels, the body is also producing Softeners to break down and neutralize the Hardeners. These are an enzyme known as phosphodiesterase (PDE5). As long as the sexually stimulated male is producing more Hardeners than Softeners, the penis will remain erect. But as soon as the production of Hardeners starts to go down, the Softeners will get the upper hand, and the erection will start to fizzle. It is now generally assumed that ED is caused by an imbalance of Hardeners and Softeners. The body is either not producing enough Hardeners, or too many Softeners. Either way, the result is the inability to sustain an erection. What Viagra does is block the production of Softeners. This allows the Hardeners to build up in the blood vessels of the penis and create hard, sustained erections. The beauty of the process is that nothing happens without sexual stimulation. Viagra does not take the place of stimulation. Instead, it simply lets the natural chemicals created by sexual stimulation do their work. After sex, when the brain is no longer creating Hardeners, the erection subsides naturally. And when the effects of Viagra wear off -- normally after 4 or 5 hours -- the normal processes are restored to the way they were before taking the drug. Of course, as with any drug, there are potential side effects. Viagra should not be taken if you are taking any nitrate-based drug, including nitroglycerin or if you are on any blood pressure or heart medication, as combining Viagra with these drugs can cause a severe drop in blood pressure. Also, if you have any liver or kidney problems it is not recommended that you take Viagra. magna rx testimonials real penis enargement vimax com enlargement penis penis pump health pro solution pennis enlargement surgeries penis enlargment pill magna rx vigrx penis enlargment pill compare penis enlarement pills penile enlargement
"My girlfriend dumped me because she says I 'wasn't there' when we made love. She's not the first to say this. I know something's wrong. Can hypnotherapy help me?" Your sexual dysfunction means you engage in sex more as an observer than as a participant. You hold yourself back from entering a trance state; you have difficulty "letting go." There are several ways in which a qualified hypnotherapist can help you to conquer this problem. Before using hypnosis it is essential that you receive competent medical advice. Hypnotherapy will have a particular focus depending on whether the problem is organic or psychological. Organic sexual problems require medical intervention. Hypnotherapy may be used as an adjunct, for instance, in helping you to heal faster after an operation. More frequently, sexual difficulties treated by a hypnotherapist concern psychological issues. Since the process deals with your mind all sexual activity during hypnotherapy takes place only in your imagination. What you learn through hypnotherapy is practiced privately elsewhere. Hypnotherapy may be used to heighten your sensual involvement and to help you to be fully present while engaging in sex. A common, effective use of hypnotherapy is to lower your anxiety. The anticipation of failure (particularly for men anxious about their ability to have or to maintain an erection) brings on anxious feelings. These in turn bring about the failure. Hypnotherapy ends this vicious circle and replaces the anticipation of failure with the certainty of success and confidence. Traditional sex therapy methods are more readily accepted by you when in hypnosis because the conscious, judgmental, analytical part of your mind is temporarily set aside. Your subconscious then absorbs the new, positive messages you've asked the hypnotherapist to create. Precisely because hypnosis taps into the autonomic nervous system, a person can use it to improve or alter functions that normally happen without conscious control, e.g., a man's erection. Charles, a 27-years-old former sailor and currently an electrician, consulted a hypnotherapist because he was too fearful to have sex with his wife. They'd been married three years and had had sexual difficulties since the birth of their daughter eight months previously. Charles was afraid he'd been embarrassed once again if he tried to make love. "Kim laughed at me the first time and now she just gives me a look of disgust." Why? Because he couldn't maintain an erection. Charles felt humiliated and frustrated; he worried that he'd never again have satisfactory sex with his wife. His dream of fathering a son seemed unattainable. He told the hypnotherapist that he had no problem masturbating when alone. This was a likely indicator that Charles' problem was psychological, not organic. As was Charles' report that he always had a firm erection when having sex with the occasional housewife in whose home he was doing electrical work. To be on the safe side, the hypnotherapist advised Charles to be examined by a medical specialist to be absolutely sure there was no organic cause for his ED. The doctor confirmed that Charles' trouble was "100 per cent psychogenic," meaning that for some emotional or psychological reason, he could not maintain an erection. Of course, the more Charles tried, and the more he worried, the more flaccid was his penis. The hypnotherapist explained to Charles that hypnosis could be used to uncover the cause of his trouble, or to tackle the symptom, or both. Charles, being the impatient type, and of course eager to end his humiliating experiences, opted for the "quick fix." Over the course of three sessions of hypnotherapy, Charles relived successful love-making episodes from his younger years as a Navy "stud." Then the therapist used a melding technique to encourage Charles to see himself (in his imagination, while hypnotized) from now on once again enjoying a full, firm erection well beyond the time needed to satisfy his partner. Positive suggestions were also made by the hypnotherapist to Charles about his prowess, his confidence and his desirability to his wife. For three months Charles and Kim had a wonderful sex life. Then he lost an erection just as foreplay had become hot and heavy. Kim, hurt and disappointed, reacted with sarcasm. All Charles' fears and anxieties rushed back. He returned to the hypnotherapist. This time Charles agreed to investigate the cause of his impotence. The hypnotherapist used various approaches -- age regression, age progression (in which the "future" Charles was to explain how he'd conquered the problem) analogue symbolic imagery -- but nothing worked. In a subsequent session, with Charles relaxed in hypnosis, the therapist told Charles he'd have a dream. His subconscious would provide this dream as a way, either directly or symbolically, to explain the origin of his impotence. Three nights later Charles dreamed he was outside a factory. It was night time and the factory loomed dark and mysterious. Charles felt a strong urge to scale the steel fence that surrounded the factory. Then he tried to find away in. All the doors were shut and padlocked. A security guard ("very scary, because he had my face," said Charles) told him to go away. But Charles persisted in his eagerness to enter the factory. He ran from the guard, to the back of the building. Here was the loading dock. Charles saw a bulldozer there. He jumped into its cab and began to operate the controls. The guard reappeared, feebly told Charles to get off the property, to go to his own place. In the distance, Charles could see a stately castle which he somehow knew belonged to him. But his only interest was in the dark factory. The guard shrugged. Charles started up the bulldozer and charged the heavy machine toward the small back door of the factory. As the bulldozer began to rumble forward, Charles awoke -- with a massive erection. The dream puzzled Charles. But it enlightened the therapist. To him it revealed that Charles was in the grip of the Madonna/Whore complex. This is the attitude that divides women into "good" and "bad." Thus, a man's wife and especially mother, are "good." Prostitutes, other men's wives and and women of ethnic groups other than the man's own, are "bad." "Bad" women are exciting; "good" women are boring. Sex is forbidden with "good" women but possible with the "bad." A man with this complex may have sex with his wife occasionally, or until she becomes a mother, or while a post-hypnotic suggestion lasts. But his heart is not in it. Neither is his penis. However, with a "bad" woman he has no commitment, no respect. She is there to be used. His conscience (the security guard) barely bothers him about penetrating the stranger (the dark factory) but, perversely, does prevent him enjoying "his" woman (the castle). When Charles heard this explanation, he nodded in agreement. This was indeed his view. And that of his father, uncle and most of his friends. He had no serious interest in changing this outlook, especially since Kim had announced she was pregnant. The hypnotherapist's suggestion that Charles and Kim seek marriage counselling fell on deaf ears. A lawyer we shall call Mathilde did seek help from a psychotherapist. She had told the referring doctor that she rarely had an orgasm. The truth was that Mathilde never had an orgasm -- with her husband. She'd been faking it for years. But she had climaxed with previous boyfriends. Also during a two-night stand a few months ago. Mathilde had been a speaker at a lawyers' convention a thousand miles from home. There she met Roger, a brooding electrical engineer who had been trouble-shooting the hotel's elevators. "He was not particularly good-looking but he had these soft grey eyes," Mathilde confided to the therapist. She smiled. "He was brutal in bed." Mathilde was mildly surprised to find herself telling the male therapist details she had not felt comfortable confiding to her female doctor. There was no question of her wanting to leave the marriage. She loved her husband, had a marvellous life. All that was missing ws the joy of orgasm. It was something she yearned for. Until she met Roger the lack of orgasms with her husband had not bothered her much. Mathilde had become used to pretending -- and to satisfying herself in secret. The therapist faced two dilemmas: i) perhaps, despite Mathilde's conscious denials, there was some problem between her and her husband ii) the therapist usually worked with couples, not individuals, on such sexual challenges. He decided that, given the husband was not present and would be unlikely to come to future sessions, he would work with Mathilde, and he would use hypnotherapy. If the outcome was successful, there would be no need to explore possible conflicts between husband and wife. First the therapist explained a little about hypnosis and how it could help Mathilde. Her first session was devoted to her simply relaxing into hypnosis, and becoming familiar with how safe and peaceful it felt. In Mathilde's second and third sessions of hypnosis the therapist suggested Mathilde silently relive an earlier experience of orgasm. In her mind she was to take particular note of the physical and emotional feelings which allowed her to climax. When the orgasm in her imagination was over she would open her eyes, though remain in hypnosis. Then the therapist pointed out, and Mathilde confirmed, that she had been internally very relaxed just prior to making love. And that during foreplay and intercourse, she became "lost" in the pleasure. The therapist asked Mathilde to again close her eyes and this time to imagine herself in bed with her husband. Again she could relive the details silently, no need to tell the therapist anything, except when the imagined lovemaking was over. When Mathilde compared the earlier experience with how she felt when making love with her husband she immediately noticed her tension. "I am not relaxed and I don't get lost in the act." Sometimes she thought about cases she was working on and at other times she focused on making sure her husband was satisfied. In the next part of the session the therapist first gave Mathilde suggestions that she could allow herself to relax with her husband, that she could allow herself to climax with him. The therapist again waited silently while Mathilde played the scene through in her mind. When she signalled (with a broad smile) that the scene had reached a successful end, the therapist closed the session with positive suggestions about Mathilde allowing herself to be relaxed, focused on pleasure and allowed to climax when making love with her husband. And so it was. * * * Hypnotherapy has also been used successfully to overcome other sexual problems such as overlubrication, exhibitionism, and to uncover the reason a client became a transvestite. Before seeking help with a sexual difficulty it is important to be sure it really is a problem. For example, a man may go to a therapist because he believes he suffers from premature ejaculation. But if the man is married to a woman who dislikes sex, indeed "wants it over with as soon as possible," that's exactly what is happening, so where's the problem? Twenty-five years old Eugene's problem was real enough: he could not become erect. A handsome, single, bus driver, Eugene had had several medical examinations; all the doctors had concluded there was no medical cause for his impotence. At first, hypnotherapy did not help Eugene. He became more and more despondent about his failure, scared to date and unable to sleep at night. The hypnotherapist had used approaches one or more of which usually resolve psychogenic impotence: > positive suggestions > aversive therapy > satisfying imagery > arm rigidity But nothing worked. The hypnotherapist finally decided to enlist the guidance of Eugene's subsconscious through finger signalling and direct relay of images in response to questions. (With finger signalling -- also known as an ideodynamic technique -- a hypnotized person allows the subconscious to answer questions with predesignated fingers that represent "Yes," "No," "Don't Know," and "Not yet ready to answer"). This approach proved fruitful, although at first puzzling. Hypnotherapist: "I'm going to ask your subconscious some questions. There's no need for you to think about the questions or the answers. Simply allow your subconscious to respond through the fingers it has selected. You will probably feel a tingling begin in the finger that the subsconscious selects. Then it will lift as though of its own accord. Now, I'd like to ask your subconscious if there is a purpose served by Eugene's impotence?" [This question is often answered "yes" and subsequently leads to an explanation such as a desire to punish self or partner for some reason]. [Fimger responses are indicated with ( )]. Eugene: (No). H: "Does the cause of the problem lie in Eugene's past?" E: (Yes). [This response steered the hypnotherapist along the wrong path. He took no account of the literalness with which the subconscious absorbs information. Consequently, the hypnotherapist understood the "Yes" response to mean that there was a specific event, a trauma or a message, that began Eugene's impotence. As was later revealed, the "cause in the past" referred, not to a particular event, but to an ongoing process.] H: "Did the cause happen before Eugene was 20?" E: (Yes). H: "Did the cause happen before Eugene was 15?" E: (Yes). H: "Before 10?" E: (No). [Now the hypnotherapist, who erroneously assumes some single event happened, switches from finger responses to image responses]. H: "Okay. I'm going to ask the subconscious to present to your mind an image that is somehow connected to the problem we're dealing with." E: "I'm in a shop. I don't know how old I am but a man picks me up. I'm very scared. He holds me to him. Someone else comes in and tells the man to put me down." [The hypnotherapist thinks that it is possible something happened in the shop to subsequently cause Eugene to become impotent. However, further questioning reveals that Eugene sees little more than he has already reported. There appears to be no abuse, no negative messages (such as "You'll never be a man.") The session is drawing to a close so the therapist reverts to ideomatic questioning. He decided to check the medical verdicts]. H: "Does the problem have any medical basis to it?" E: [Long pause]. (No). H: "Is there something physical that would help?" E: (No). H: "Is there something missing in Eugene's diet, or something he should not be eating or drinking?" E: (Don't know/don't want to answer yet). [Eugene snaps out of hypnosis, much to his own surprise. In previous sessions for other problems Eugene had enjoyed hypnosis so much he had been reluctant to emerge. He puts himself back into hypnosis]. H: "Okay. Our time is nearly up. I want to thank your subconscious for its help. I'm now asking it to provide you with a dream that will give you a strong indication on how to solve the problem that brought you here." [Eugene once again snaps out of hypnosis]. H: "Wow. We're clearly close to something significant, otherwise you wouldn't come out so suddenly." E: "I don't understand why. But while you were talking about me having a dream something floated into my mind: smoking." H: [Incredulous]. "You smoke!" E: "Yes, a lot." H: "There you are. That's what your subconscious was telling us: the cause of your impotence is smoking! Have you stopped before?" E: "Yes. For a while." H: "And did you have erections okay then?" E: [Thinks back]. "Yes, I did. I did." [And the shop? Why did the subconscious throw that memory into Eugene's mind? Perhaps because the shop sold cigarettes.] Copyright (c) 2005 Bryan M. Lesson Purpose: Your body is a precious gift that should be properly nourished, cleansed, and kept free from harmful substances. By preserving the sanctity of your body, you keep it as a holy temple for your spirit. The Lesson “And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Bible, Genesis 2:7 “If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.” Bible, 1Cor 3:17 “If anything is sacred the human body is sacred.” Walt Whitman, I Sing the Body Electric. “For the body at best Is a bundle of aches, Longing for rest; It cries when it wakes.” Edna St. Vincent Millay, Moriturus Robert Lewis Stevenson is an example of a person living with his body. I realize that not everyone has a healthy body and that they have to compromise to meet their life's objectives. Robert Lewis Stevenson died in the last decade of the nineteenth century at age forty-four. One of the greatest writers of all time, he said that there was never a day in his life that he was not ill and that he felt strong enough to get out of bed. But he said that if he didn't get up, nothing would be accomplished that day. So he got up and wrote the wonderful literature for young and old that will be enjoyed as long as man can pull a chair up to a lamp and read. We don't have to go back that far, do we? We have a young mother in our town who is horribly crippled and raising her children on her own. She is a beautiful creature with long black hair that drops down to her waste. I sometimes see her down by the town lake. Crutches in both hands and braces on her legs, she struggles to walk around the lake. I go up to her and ask her is she is okay. Can I take her back to her car? She gives me her beautiful smile and says, “I'm going to try and make it.” Her picture was in the paper the other day. Habitat for Humanity is building her a house. She is so happy and what did she say? “I'm going to work on that house too.” And she will. Why? Because she has too, to achieve what she wants to get out life. (Note: I worked on her home and three others while living in Arizona. She lives in it today with her two children, a boy and a girl.) Most of us have reasonably healthy bodies. We should be grateful to God for that. If people with terrible ailments press on in their lives despite the suffering, we should strive to use our bodies to help others. And that's what we do, isn't it? We go to work. We go shopping for groceries. We pack the kids in the car and take them off to school and sports activities. We are on the run all the time! And that is why we have to stop and think and ask ourselves, “Am I taking care of the body that God gave me? Do I give my body enough rest? Do I give my body enough exercise? Do I feed my body the right foods? Am I putting dangerous chemicals and drugs into my body? When did I last have the doctor give me a checkup?” We are what we eat, they say. And that's what we like to do most, isn't it? EAT! There are two problems here related to Quality and Quantity. You can eat all the carrots, lettuce, watermelon, and other such vegetables and fruits that you want without ill effects. Why? There are few calories, but lots of vitamins and minerals that you need. You can't eat all the meat, ice cream, cake, hamburgers, hot dogs, cheese, and such, without getting too much fat and too many calories. Moderation is the key, isn't it? Sure it is! If you eat lots of fruits and vegetables and much less meat, ice cream, cake, hamburgers, French fries, fried onion rings, etc., you will have more energy and vigor. Many folks are overweight which leads to heart decease, diabetes and other ailments. To lose weight, I have to write down my daily intake of food item by item on a sheet of paper so that I don't over do it. By doing that, I automatically say: “Hey! I’m eating too darn much.” When I first started doing this, I would count the calories and stopped when I reached my limit. I found this not necessary. Just jotting down the items slows me down. We need exercise too. They say that we old folks need at least three thirty-minute exercise periods every week and that hefting a few weights can keep our muscles strong. I walk around the track at our high school pumping five pound weights. Younger people get plenty of exercise, at least most of them, but they still need to watch what they eat. Tired about me talking about Korea? Well, this isn't one of my war stories. It's a fact that the doctors working in aid stations and field hospitals in Korea, many who had served in WW II, found that the arteries of the Korean GI’s were heavily laden with plaque. Much more than what the doctors saw in WW II. The reason was that those that went into W.W.II lived during the “kettle of beans” era of America called the Great Depression. The diet was not HIGH FAT. We ate a lot of vegetables. Our mother's canned fruits and tomatoes. I remember carrying jars of fruit and vegetables down our basement steps until my arms dropped off. Then came the hamburger era. When the war brought money into the land of the poor, we went on a richer diet. We loved ice cream and hamburgers and hot dogs and French fries. When I was in high school and, even later after the Korean War, at the university, a good lunch was hamburgers with fries. I paid for it. Years in industry, after I left teaching engineering at Iowa State University, required lots of travel and lots of meals away from home. I traveled to England, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Holland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Mexico, Japan, Korea, and on one trip, I flew around the world, crossing the Great Soviet Union after flying over Finland, and then dropping down into Japan. We ate and ate and ate! Wherever we went, we ate like hogs. After I retired and was editor of an industrial magazine, I flew to Mexico, Ecuador and Columbia. In Columbia, I was escorted by guards with machine guns. But I didn't eat fatty foods. The reason was that I had bypass surgery and no longer was allowed to eat artery-blocking goodies. My first surgery was in 1992. In the spring of 2005, one of the grafts was replaced and I was supplied with the aortic valve of a hog (which seems appropriate). So, what should we eat? The “Nutrition Action Healthletter,” published by the nonprofit Center for Science in the Public Interest, 1875 Connecticut Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20009 says that the following are good things to eat: oranges, whole-grain bread, cantaloupe, broccoli, sweet potatoes, watermelon, beans, salmon or other fatty fish, all-bran or 100% bran cereals, spinach, and kale. Salmon and other fatty fishes reduce the chance of a sudden-death heart attack. All-bran and 100% bran reduce the risk of cancer and heart disease. When you shop for groceries, read the labels. Quaker 100% Natural Oats & Honey Granola sure sounds healthy to me. Not so says the Center. Too much sugar and fat. Look for a low-fat variety from Mister Quaker if you want granola. Many plastic-bag items like chips are loaded with fat and salt. Breakfast sandwiches are packed with fat. Pizza is loaded with fat. Buy a low-fat brand or eat in moderation. Donuts and such are loaded with sugar and fat. Look for fat-free varieties. Noodles and such by themselves are not high in fat, but when you fry them they are. Canned soups can be loaded with salt. Read the labels. Breakfast eating out: Well, Denny's Slim Slam is much better for you than the Grand Slam. What about meat? My wife lives without it, and she doesn't feed me much. Some meat, or equivalent, is essential to good health, but purchase lean cuts and eat in moderation. Use it as a garnish more than the main part of the meal. I make spaghetti using chicken as the meat instead of meat balls. You can eat turkey burgers rather than hamburgers. What about pork? When I was a boy, I use to work at a hog farm owned by our church. Stink! Wow! The pigs were as big as cars. When I drove through Iowa in 1956, the pigs were still huge. When I went back to teach at Iowa State University in 1966, the pigs had shrunk. They got smaller still by the time I left in 1974. All this was accomplished through breeding and diet. The pigs were slimming down. Lean pork can have a lot less fat than some beef cuts. Read the labels at the supermarket. Everyday eat: cereal, fruit, vegetables, little or no meat, and fish once or twice a week. My wife doesn't cook fish and the trout I catch don't have much omega-3 fatty acid. I take the pills. Take a multipurpose vitamin and consider taking extra vitamin C, especially during the cold season. Physical Examinations Middle-aged men should have an annual physical. Men are subject to prostate problems. The problem is enlargement with the distinct possibility of cancer. (My friend died a few weeks ago after an eight-year fight with prostate cancer. A sad lose.) Women are subject to breast and ovarian cancer and need checkups before middle age. Any person having a family history of heart disease, diabetes, cancer, or other ailment, should notify their doctor of this fact. Remember to Exercise Walking is good. When you are young, you can be as vigorous in exercise as you want. (There may be exceptions.) When you are old, walking is the best exercise, or perhaps swimming. My wife swims three times a week. On her 70th birthday, she swam 70 laps at the Olympic pool. Golf is good if you walk the course pushing your bag by hand cart or carrying it. Driving around the course in a motorized cart is not quite as healthy, but you can still get a lot of exercise if you are a bad golfer and spend lots of time in the rough. England is good for golf. They usually don't have motorized carts and the rough is really rough. I do love playing golf in England with the brassy weather and the foxes scampering out of the brush and the kids running out on the course stealing your balls, and all such fun. Keep your body clean and lean if possible. If not, keep it fat and clean. But obesity is a major health risk for heart attack and cancer. Make sure you get enough sleep and resttoo, and make sure you take time out for recreation to alleviate the stresses of out times. For The Little Children Mr. Brown set on the front porch watching the cars go by. Freddy said, “I've never see Mr. Brown out of that chair.” Peter replied, “That's because Mr. Brown never gets out of that chair. He brings it out in the morning and sits there until after dark.” “Yes,” Freddy said, “He's in that chair even in the winter and late at night. The only difference is that he goes inside the house when it’s too cold outside.” Peter nodded his head. “Yes, all he needs is that chair and that radio blasting away.” One day, two of Mr. Brown's older sons came to the front of the house with an ax. Freddy said, “What are they up to now? I've never seen the Brown boys work. They just horse around all day.” Peter said, “I think they are going to cut down that tree.” Freddy replied, “What makes you think they can use an ax. They'll probably cut off a foot.” The Brown boys started swinging the ax at the tree. They chipped the tree here and there but they couldn't seem to get the hang of it. “I can't believe it!” said Peter. “You can't believe what?” asked Freddy. “Mr. Brown is getting out of that rocking chair!” “I’ll be!” said Peter. “Give me that ax!” said Mr. Brown. "You boys don't know how to swing an ax." He took the ax and started swinging like Paul Bunyan. He knew how to use an ax and the chips were flying. Freddy said, “Look how red his face is getting.” “More like blue,” said Peter. Then poor Mr. Brown fell to the ground. The Brown boys called their mother and she came running out of the house. She send one of the boys to use the Neighbor’s telephone to call an ambulance. But it was too late. Poor Mr. Brown was dead by the time the ambulance arrived. He had a massive heart attack. Mrs. Brown was crying. Peter and Freddy felt sad. They told the Brown boys they were sorry. Later, Freddy told his father what happened. His father said, “It's too bad. He wasn't in good enough health to cut down a tree. You have to keep fit to do that kind of work. You have to know your own limitations.” Freddy said, “I’ll try to remember that, Father. When I'm old, I will walk a lot like Grandfather does. I’ll try to keep healthy and strong.” His father smiled at him and said, “You are thinking good, Son.” Yes, this is a true story. Niches are like bathrooms; you never notice them until you need one.” - Primm (From NicheBrain.com) Fact: The person who finds or creates a special niche gets the cream of our society's financial rewards. Whether you’re Bill Gates or Joe Average. The niche, and the person who creates them, is the main factor that separates one product from 12 others. To out-niche your competitors you must focus on these “15 commandments” of niche creation at all times. Observe the ones you can apply to your business, product, or service - and watch your profits soar. 15 Principles of Creating A Niche (In alphabetical order) 1. The Principle of "Adaptation" - The easiest way to create a new idea is to do what others in another business or industry are doing. Next, see if you can adapt it to your own business, product, or service. 2. The Principle of "Addition" - Can you add something extra to your product or service that your competition doesn’t have or isn’t doing? 3. The Principle of "Combination" - “What positive elements can you combine from another product or service to make yours better?” A candy bar did it with simple peanut butter and chocolate, and made a successful new product. So can you! 4. The Principle of "Customization" - Can you find little ways to personalize a part of your product or service for your customers? People love the personal touch - that means so much. Can you make your product or service more personal and less cookie-cutter? 5. The Principle of "Easier" - Can you find more ways to make your product or service easier to buy, use, own, recommend to others, or attract repeat customers? 6. The Principle of "Elimination" - What negative or inconvenience can you eliminate for your customer with your product or service? Today people not only pay extra for more, they’ll pay extra for less. Less irritations, less waiting, less inconveniences, less risk, less pain, etc. 7. The Principle of "Enlargement" - Do people like your service or product? Then it’s a sure-fire bet there is a segment of your market that would like even more of it. Can you super-size something? 8. The Principle of "Entertainment" - From cradle to grave, we all have this inner urge to be entertained, amused, or fascinated - especially before we spend our money. A relaxed customer spends more. Find little ways to amuse your customers before, while, and after they buy your product or service. 9. The Principle of "Longevity" - It’s making some feature of your product or service last longer. It can also include making a positive experience or feeling last longer. 10. The Principle of "Portability" - People hate to be tied down. Can people use your product or service in more than one place? Or can you find a way to take your product or service to your customer instead of them having to come to you? 11. The Principle of "Reduction" - If you sell a product or service, is there any way to reduce a certain feature to make it more convenient? More portable? Easier to store or carry? Or easier to use? Can you reduce it and make it more affordable? 12. The Principle of "Reversal" - Look at what features or services your competition is offering or not offering and reverse them. If they close on weekends, can you be open? If they cater to seniors, target more young people. Or if they cater to high-end customers, target more low-end volume customers, etc. 13. The Principle of "Safety" - Show others how your product or service can add safety or reduce risk. People hate to experience loss, feel insecure, or waste money. Try to think of little ways you can help people avoid the above with your product or service. 14. The Principle of "Speed" - Today more than ever people hate to wait. You should always be thinking, “What could I do faster than my competitors - without losing quality?” Can you fill your orders faster? Can you give faster service? Can your product get faster results? Can you resolve customer issues faster? Can you ship your orders faster? Think speed! 15. The Principle of "Yucky" - A billionaire once said the secret to success is to be willing to do what most people don’t like to do. So find out what people don’t like to do, find irritating or disgusting, and charge them to do it. If you have a business, find out what your competition doesn’t like to do for their customers and you start doing it. You could literally steal customers from your competition overnight. Try it. By following the above suggestions, you’ll be able to create powerful money-making niches. And leave your competition in the dust.
